In the event of selection candidates will be required to produce a release letter from their employer allowing them to attend the course as 100% attendance is required. In addition, all successful female applicants must produce a family no objection letter indicating that attendance at outside venues, including overnight stays, is understood and agreed.

Applications to become one of the final 16 delegates close on 15 Aug 2013

Once you do apply (and all first applications are online, with no paper required at any point in the initial application process), your electronic data will be considered alongside every other application and the relevant criteria will be checked.  You must ensure that you complete every required field on the application form, and that you ensure accuracy in everything that you enter.  The data you enter will be the first means of selection and,if the committee subsequently discovers any errors in the application data, they will automatically delete the applicant’s entry from the database.

After the closing day for applications (remember, by 15 Aug 2013), and the first electronic selection by data presented, the programme committee will select the remaining applicants that most closely fit the programme profile.  These applicants will be those who the committee considers stand the best chance of benefiting from this unique opportunity for leadership development.  The programme committee members will interview these remaining applicants by 29 August 2013, and the committee will then notify a shortlist of 60 applicants of their selection for attendance at a psychometric profiling session led by Dr. Barry Cummings during 8– 10 September 2013 inclusive.

From these 60 applicants, and using the information gained from the psychometric profiles and the earlier interviews, Dr. Cummings will present the committee with a final shortlist of applicants, ranked in order of preference for attendance on the programme.  The programme sponsor, HH Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, will approve the final selection of the 16 successful delegates by 23 September 2013

The committee will inform the final 16 delegates of their selection by 24 September 2013.  Each delegate must confirm their availability to the committee by 26 September 2013, and all no objection letters from families and employers must accompany this confirmation.  The successful delegates will then meet their programme providers for the first time at the welcome presentations in the Ajman Palace hotel in early October.
